What is the purpose of Massachusetts Bay Organization Development Learning Group?
We strive to create a safe and supportive environment where members can meet with other professionals to learn and discuss topics in Organization Development (OD).
We aim to meet the personal and professional needs of our members by providing a forum for exchanging ideas, developing OD skills, testing current skills, sharing collective experiences, and networking. We have a steady stream of regular programming and there's always something new happening.
What are the benefits to becoming a member?
Becoming a member brings you into our community at MassBayODLG. Members are invited free of charge to all of our events and programs. Members are also welcome to participate in any of our special interest groups or create one to fit their interests.

What kind of meetings does the MassBayODLG put on?
Our regular monthly programs keep you in the loop by addressing the most current, relevant topics in OD. These meetings bring our members together to make connections and have conversation in a fun, friendly and informal atmosphere. The programming is driven by member interest and ideas - you can even submit a proposal to present on your own area of expertise.

What is the dress code for the monthly meetings?
The dress tends to be on the casual side for a business meeting. You'll feel comfortable dressed either casually, business casual, or in a suit.
Is the MassBayODLG affiliated with any other organization?
MassBayODLG is the regional affiliate of the national Organization Development Network. We also work jointly with other local organizations for special purposes.
I work in training. Would I find the MassBayODLG of value?
Quite likely. Our membership is made up of people in a number of related fields such as training, human resources, industrial psychology, psychology. Our events and materials span a variety of topics to meet the various needs of the group.
Who runs MassBayODLG?
MassBayODLG is a self-managing organization. Various functional teams are responsible for different areas, and are connected by a Coordinating Committee. Any MassBayODLG member can get involved in the governance of the organization by volunteering on a committee or task-force.
